We are looking for graduates to join our Product Engineering team in Future Propulsion Systems.
Fossil fuels have dominated automotive propulsion since cars were introduced, but our priorities are now very different. By the middle of the decade, we will have undergone a renaissance to emerge as a pure-electric luxury brand and you have the opportunity to help shape this. You will become a key part of the team, working in multiple departments across your two years, enabling you to develop a well-rounded understanding of the business.
Learning what it takes to deliver the high-quality propulsion systems of the future, you will evolve into an experienced member of the propulsion engineering community. To develop your skills and competencies, you will work in a range of different environments, using a mixture of engineering tools such as Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and Computer Aided Design (CAD) plus data analysis techniques, while closely partnering customer groups.
Your placements will help you develop your technical knowledge at either component or system level and from design to the operation of fully electric propulsion systems. Along the way, you will gain a full understanding of conceptualisation, design, development, optimisation and delivery for world-class components and systems.
During the Future Propulsion Systems Graduate Programme, you will work in either Engineering Operations (EO) or Engineering Propulsion (EP). You will be allocated to a department based on personal preferences and business needs.
Engineering Operations (EO)
EO underpin technical innovation and product delivery with programme management, tools and processes, plus specialist technical services to deliver our world-class products. A diverse team, EO harness a variety of skill sets, from project management, information management and data analytics to building and testing prototypes. EO are fundamentally involved in every state-of-the-art engineering process and are driving an exciting transformation in the way we engineer and deliver our products with class-leading technology and quality.
Engineering Propulsion (EP)
Our EP team are leaders in the design, test, validation and certification of world-class propulsion systems aimed at delivering driving experiences that our customers will love for life.
We take a global perspective, and our teams carry out overseas testing and certification in world markets, gather market-specific feedback, interface with colleagues and supplier manufacturing plants around the globe, and collaborate cross-functionally with all of our key stakeholders.
We use state-of-the-art build, test and sign-off facilities to provide the power and driving force behind our vehicles using the combined expertise of our cross-functional teams to find the ideal balance between performance, sustainability and refinement, while responding to the rapidly changing environmental issues that shape our industry.
In all areas of propulsion, you will work on some of the most desirable and sought-after automotive products. Our vehicles are tested to the most extreme limits in the industry to ensure they are the most capable in all environments.
