Job Description
We are looking for graduates to join our Global Buyer Procurement team.
Procurement is a crucial area of our business, responsible for securing and managing complex global deals with international suppliers and strategic partners. By joining our team as a procurement graduate, you’ll support a portfolio of commodities and/or categories: developing strategies, managing relationships, sourcing new products, analysing market trends, negotiating new and existing contracts, and supporting procurement transformation as part of our Reimagine strategy.
Along the way, you could find yourself supporting us in any of these areas: exterior, interior, chassis, software amp; digital, electrical hardware, e-propulsion, engines amp; driveline, aftermarket, indirect, raw materials and special vehicles. You will undertake two core placements during the programme, with specific value-adding projects, as well as a placement in a procurement support function, such as supply chain or sustainability. Throughout your programme, you’ll develop outstanding negotiation and influencing skills whilst taking on a diverse range of placements.
On finishing the programme, you will transition into a role within procurement, which will depend on your experience and interests.
Requirements
You will need to be on track to achieve at least a 2.2 degree in:
- Business
- Economics
- Supply chain amp; logistics
- Technology
- Engineering
- Maths
- STEM discipline
- As travel between sites and suppliers will be required, A FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE IS ALSO ESSENTIAL.
