Job Description
UBT are proudly working with a growing established family run SME Accountancy Practice based in Coventry. The company have been established since 1976 and now employing over 30 people within the business, they are expanding their operations to include a newly created position of Semi Senior Accountant. The practice work with predominately growing SME businesses from 1m+ offering truly consultative accountancy partnership transforming quality of life for business owners, creating, maintaining and growing wealth. This is a truly unique accountancy practice who have an excellent support team allowing the Accountants to do what they do best! Responsibilities
- Preparation of year end accounts, company tax returns, individual tax returns, VAT returns etc.
- Preparation of monthly management reports, including analysis/presentation to client
- Provide excellent service to clients by supporting and answering queries.
- Cashflow forecasting and other project work.
- Work closely with the senior management team, including supporting Partners with projects
- Contribute to the accountancy firm’s growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients
- Work as part of a team that fosters a supportive and inclusive environment
Requirements
- Part-ACA/ACCA qualified
- Previous experience within a practice environment
- Keen attitude to learning and growing your knowledge
- A positive attitude and enthusiastic contributor to team
- Ability to problem solve and find solutions
- Good presentation and communication skills
