As the Head of People amp; Development, reporting to the Corporate Services Director, you will be instrumental in sculpting the organization's future. Your mission will entail cultivating an exemplary HR team and nurturing a culture hallmarked by collaboration, customer-centricity, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forge robust relationships with key stakeholders at ELT and SLT levels.
  • Cultivate a vibrant People team culture.
  • Guide and evolve a high-caliber team epitomizing HR excellence, ensuring the People team maintains a commercial, customer-centric approach, and stands as a staunch ally to the executive and management teams.
  • Equip the organization with a robust suite of people data and analytics, empowering leaders with insightful current trends for informed decision-making concerning change and strategy. This aspect will encompass a gap analysis of the existing HRIS, evaluating the necessity for procuring and deploying a new system that aligns with organizational needs.
  • Prioritize organizational learning amp; development in the short to medium term, shifting the focus to organizational development in the long term.
  • Continuously enhance DEamp;I (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) strategy tailored for a STEM organization, encompassing all facets of talent attraction, management, and development, ensuring it's poised for short, medium, and long-term objectives.

Requirements

  • To qualify for this pivotal Head of People amp; Development role, you should have a well-documented history of strategic engagements that have propelled businesses/organizations towards realizing their strategic aspirations.
  • Your expertise should span talent management amp; development, organizational design amp; development, employee relations, and engagement, coupled with a knack for partnering, coaching, and influencing across all organizational echelons.
  • A keen ability in People technology is crucial, given our client's inclination towards data amp; insight-driven decisions. The ability to interpret and leverage data in crafting strategies and projects is essential.
