We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our leadership team as a Country Manager/Managing Director for the UK amp; Ireland business. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in leading the strategic vision and shaping the future of 1Spatial Group Limited in the UK and Ireland. As the Country Manager/Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and profitability of our business in this region, whilst working collaboratively with rest of the UK leadership team.

Reporting to the CEO, you will establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, clients, partners, and industry influencers, to ensure the success of our solutions and services. You will also be responsible for managing a team and working closely with them to achieve business targets and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.

Role amp; Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and drive revenue growth in the UK amp; Ireland, with a strong emphasis on change and transformation.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and acquisitions.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage a team, providing guidance and support to achieve business targets.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to identify opportunities and threats and provide insights to the executive team.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to drive product innovation and improve market positioning.
  • Ensure that the company's operations adhere to relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide regular reports to the Board of Directors on the company's performance, achievements, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Required skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with a small or medium sized enterprise, preferably in the B2B information technology, data, and services industry. Experience within GIS industry is desirable, not essential.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Track record of driving transformational change and delivering results
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
