Joiner/Plasterer/Multi Trade Technician - Peter Cox
Permanent, full-time role
Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm
Basic salary of 22,500 with approx OTE of 30,000 + company van + fuel card
Requirements
The role of a Technician
As a Technician, you’ll be servicing our customers across the North East Lincolnshire area in a company van and therefore you need a UK driving licence to become one of our Technicians. Travel further afield may also be required, subject to workload.
What will you be doing?
You will strip and replace timber floors, door frames, architraves, windows and doors
You will hack-off plaster, prior to installing damp proof courses or install cavity drainage membrane
You will be required to carry out timber treatments such as woodworm sprays and fungal decay work
Our specialist technicians also carry out basement waterproofing work, and structural defects repairs, such as wall tie installation and crack-stitching
We would love you to have:
Preservation joinery experience preferred
An apprenticeship background, City and Guilds or NVQ qualifications would be advantageous
Experience working as a Joiner, Carpenter or a Preservation Technician preferred
Full UK Manual Driving Licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 penalty points
A can-do attitude, and able to use your own initiative in tricky situations
Great communication and customer service skills with a keen, enthusiastic and friendly approach
