Job Description

In 2020 Telegraph Media Group launched Editorially Integrated Partnerships (EIP), right for brands, right for subscribers and right for the Telegraph. Our carefully selected partnerships enhance the journalism and experiences our subscribers love, while enabling brands to gain exclusive access to our highly engaged audience.

Our Project Managers are key team members responsible for the delivery of all our digital solutions with specific attention to scheduling, administration, quality of output, client satisfaction and profitability. The overall goal? To ensure the work produced is better than what was pitched, is produced within the required profitability margins and attracts repeat business.

A member of the Commercial Operations Team will be responsible for managing a portfolio of campaigns across our new suite of Digital solutions. You will work closely with the Digital Sales team, Data amp; Product leads, Web Production, and Commercial Editors to successfully deliver the campaigns allocated to you

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Digital Partnerships amp; research campaign success to ensure targets and KPIs are met
  • Be proficient in the planning, scheduling, booking and reporting of media inventory amp; research and content are required to deliveras sold, and to manage any production/planning matters that may arise.
  • Producing a Pamp;L where relevant, before the pitch, for each partnership you work on and ensuring that costs are correctly allocated, managed, and within TMG's agreed profit margins. You should also promote the Digital and product rate card positively to aid the delivery of budgeted margins. Anything falling outside of agreed margins should be escalated to the Heads of Project Management.
  • Be involved from pitch to PCA (Post-Campaign Analysis) for your partnerships and assisting with pitches where required.
  • Take on partnerships covering any topics falling under Travel, Lifestyle, Business amp; Finance and Sport, allocated to you by Heads of Project Management.
  • Seek advice from more experienced colleagues where necessary, referring all problems that are proving tricky to resolve/have negative client or profit implications to the Heads of Project Management at the earliest opportunity.
  • Ensuring there are centralised and accurate schedules/files of all the activity you manage, keeping full and up-to-date records of past, present, and future campaigns that are easily accessible by all in the department.
  • Providing best-in-class customer service and adhering to TMG's best practice guidelines, ensuring that all campaigns are delivered seamlessly to meet KPIs and the highest standards across the campaign lifecycle.
  • Being an enthusiastic user and supporter of Workfront (campaign management software).
  • Ensuring that all projects are smoothly delivered with clear timeline management, while dealing with clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders to foster effective collaboration to meet campaign objectives and client expectations.
  • Set and then manage the delivery of campaign KPIs via the Editorial and Web Production teams.
  • Have a clear understanding of all Telegraph products including Telegraph.co.uk, newspaper, magazines, apps and database
  • Set the standard to support the renewal of campaigns to secure future investment

Requirements

  • A proven track record managing key client campaigns
  • Motivated with very good project management skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with good attention to detail
  • Experience working with standard IAB digital formats along with other Rich Media formats
  • An understanding of digital advertising metrics and buying methods
  • Good organisational and time management skills with a flexible approach to work
  • Numerical literacy is important to manage and optimise profit margin
