JOB TITLE: Multi Skilled Operative

LOCATION: Victoria Leeds

SHIFT PATTERN: 5 on 2 off, 40 hours per week

PAY RATE: 10.57 per hour

As a Multi Skilled Operative at ABM UK, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the overall facility operations. This diverse role requires you to have a range of skills and expertise to deliver customized facility solutions. You will work closely with the team to understand the unique challenges of each location and provide tailored services accordingly.

• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, painting, and general repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all facilities are in optimal condition.
• Respond to urgent requests and resolve any technical issues efficiently.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment and furniture for events and activities.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment to support day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a safe environment for employees and visitors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a facilities services or maintenance environment.
• Proficient in a range of maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, painting, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to consistently follow them.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
