Barbaricum seeks an experienced Systems Engineering and Acquisition professional to provide expert-level support to the Army’s Project Manager for Interoperability, Integration, and Services (PMI2S). This senior position will play a key role in executing Army modernization priorities,including support for commercial IT hardware and software solutions across the entire acquisition lifecycle. Specifically, this position will augment the Army's Product Lead (PdL) Common Hardware Systems (CHS) and itssupport to various customers across PEO C3T, U.S. Army, and U.S. Federal Government Agencies to design, rapidly procure and sustain commercial IT solutions. The successful candidate will provide subject matter expertise in various commercial IT domains, including hardware components such as computers, servers, storage, networking, and communications equipment. Additionally, the Engineer will lead a weekly IPT meeting with CHS customers to facilitate system requirement development, integration, and hardware procurement.Qualifications - Active DoD Secret clearance
- 10+ years years of experience in commercial IT hardware analysis, evaluation, and solution recommendation for mission requirements
- 10+ years of experience providing IT hardware and services procurement to DoD or other Federal Agencies for tactical operations use
Desired Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience working in the Army’s Tactical Network modernization environment
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification
