Job Description
As Global Head of Brand Communications at our Global Office, you are part of a team that bring the legend of Belmond to life. You will be responsible for building and orchestrating comprehensive communication plans that align with branding and key property animations across channels and for driving brand shaping initiatives through influence and partnerships.

Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute PR and influence strategies to showcase BBB brands, increase global awareness, and enhance brand positioning and perception.
- Build, lead, and develop a dynamic PR team that collaborates with internal and external partners.
- Establish and nurture relationships with media and influencers to maximize coverage.
- Collaborate with global corporate communications team and internal stakeholders to develop communication plans, initiatives, and press releases.
- Provide advisory support to key spokespersons for press interviews and public engagements.
- Develop brand partnerships and brand ambassadors to expand brand reach, relevance, and advocacy through joint campaigns, activations, and authentic connections with influential individuals aligned with the brand's values and target audience.
- Plan and execute global events that align with brand objectives, collaborate with cross-functional teams to create memorable experiences and strong brand moments.
- Serve as the spokesperson across events, effectively communicating brand messaging to media, public, and stakeholders.
- Lead the development and execution of external communication plans for major business and brand moments, including media branding, PR, and influence initiatives. Cultivate relationships with brands and stakeholders while collaborating with the omni marketing team for effective coordination.
Requirements
What you Bring:
- Prior experience as a Director of Communications or similar role, including exposure to Brand Communications.
- A track record of success within a matrixed, international company, with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in selecting and managing external agencies to provide necessary support.
- Previous responsibility for managing budgets.
- A background in agency work before transitioning to the client side, along with experience in the hospitality or luxury sectors, is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven track record in successfully developing and executing PR and influence strategies on a global scale.
- Exceptional organizational skills to effectively prioritize tasks and manage diverse people and organizational needs.
- Extensive experience in cultivating relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers to drive media and social coverage.
