Outline of the job
The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and finishing short form factual digital content, using shot footage and archive, with direction from our producers.
On a full time contract, the Video Editor will be expected to be in our London office for at least 2 days per week until the end of March 2024. You will be working in the Post Production team and you will report directly to the Post Production Manager.
What you’ll be doing
· Editing a range of short videos with a variety of content across a number of campaigns, primarily for social media platforms
· Finishing films to a high standard including colour grading,
audio mixing and adding pre-made motion graphics and mogrts
· Suggest creative narrative styles when a fresh approach is needed
· Working calmly and quickly within tight deadlines
· Working closely and collaboratively with the team to ensure videos adhere to brand and are on message
· Re-versioning videos as required, both into different aspect ratios and into different language versions
· Exporting videos to our specifications
Requirements
· Minimum 5 years experience at editor level, ideally with factual experience
· Experience of editing for social media platforms
· Advanced knowledge of Premiere Pro
· Ability to competently colour grade using tools within Premiere
· Ability to competently mix audio using Creative Cloud tools
· Experience of working with basic Adobe After Effects desirable but not essential
· Understanding of digital workflows and video compression
· Excellent storytelling skills
· Strong attention to detail and well organised
· Experience in cutting foreign language videos
