Job Description
Location: Supported Living Service in Reigate Road, Epsom KT17
Pay: 12.26-13.26 per hour
Hours: Part-time, 16 hours per week (2 days per week)

As an Activity Coordinator, you will join our team supporting our service users in building relationships and partnerships in the community through activities in local communities across Surrey, thereby increasing opportunities and delivering outcomes for the people we support.
We specialise in providing person-centred care for adults with a forensic mental health background, challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and autism to enable them to play a meaningful part within their community.
Our flagship supported living service on Reigate Road is an 8-minute walk from Ewell East train station and has on-site parking.

Requirements
- Good communicator
- Good organisation skills
- IT Literate
- Experience with organising groups and events
- UK driver's Licence
- Bubbly and fun personality
Key Tasks
- To build a portfolio of local resources and activities for service users to access
- To risk assess each activity according to individual risks and risk profile
- Support Service users to sign up to appropriately risk-assessed activities and arrange financial commitments with either service users or associated financial appointees.
- To support the development of social engagement and communication skills to engage in activities and increase the independence of those with learning disabilities.
- To support new service users during transition periods to identify appropriate activities and include these in their care and support plan.
- To arrange monthly house socials for service users.
- To work within assigned budgets where applicable
- To uphold person-centred values in working practices, ensuring support is tailored to participants.
- To enable service users to safely access and contribute to the local community.
- To work confidently, energetically, and autonomously and be motivated to maximise the effectiveness of the service in delivering what matters to people.
- To work with other organisations and agencies in a collaborative way to support and build relationships, connections, and networks.
- To be an ambassador for the company, to promote our services and enhance our reputation as partnership workers, problem solvers and community builders.
- To maintain records of people we support and evaluate work undertaken, obtain feedback to establish impact and achievement and identify what really matters to people.
