Role:
The successful candidate will support our Commercial Finance Manager FPamp;A with all aspects of planning and reporting.
About you:
• Part-qualified accountant (Cima, ACCA or equivalent)
• Commercial experience of a similar role in a fast paced retail environment
• Excellent eye for detail amp; organisational skills.
• An inquisitive mind amp; proactive nature
• Excellent communication skills amp; ability to work at all levels of the organisation
What you will be doing:
• Support the FPamp;A Manager with all aspect of the Forecasting process, including the Three Year Plan, Budget amp; Monthly Forecast process
• Maintain the planning tools, own the schedule, interrogate the submissions to ensure accuracy amp; highlight any risks amp; opportunities. A key aspect of the role will be to continue to evolve the process amp; tools to provide a more robust amp; insightful process
• Support Month End reporting, including updating the Long Range Plan, Board Deck amp; writing commentary to highlight key movements during the month
• Own Trade reporting, including maintaining amp; running the Weekly Sales Report, evolving it to ensure in line with Business needs
• Coordinate with Trade and Merch teams to ensure all new forecasts are correctly reflected across multiple reports, dashboards and apps
• Support the FPamp;A Manager in the actualisation amp; roll-forward of the Long Range Plan, a critical tool used within the business, ensuring it is up-to-date amp; accurate
• Support the FPamp;A Manager in Inventory Management, partnering with the Merchandising teams to ensure a tight management of current amp; future inventory amp; minimise terminal stock exposure
• Lead data governance within the Commercial Finance team, ensure accuracy of data amp; definitions of new amp; existing metrics
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business decision making
