Our projects range in value from 5k to 15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.


The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to work on our Programmes and Frameworks across our strategic partners across the water industry. Reporting to our Maidstone office, this is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office, 2 days at home. The role will include travel to and from client sites across the South East/East Anglia.

  • Management of staff and subcontractors working on assigned projects.
  • Taking responsibility for the health amp; safety of self and all under your control.
  • Creation and management of the appropriate Project Documentation.
  • Control project expenditure to satisfy the success criteria set out in the PID and contract.
  • Create, manage and update project programmes.
  • Close liaison and management of the Client and other stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Responsible for the Client Interface of a Framework, as designated.
  • Work within a monthly project reporting structure.
  • Liaison with procurement.
  • Proactively manage the impact on and protection of the environment.
  • Effectively manage the Oamp;M outputs of the projects and to programme deadlines.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Project experience
  • Experience within the water industry.
  • Good understanding of engineering principals.
  • Experience in using planning software such as Microsoft Project
  • Excellent client engagement and communication skills
  • Knowledge of health amp; safety legislation and company procedures
  • Willingness to learn and undertake occupational and Health and Safety training
  • Ability to analyse project performance and produce project reports
  • APM Willingness to undertake Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ)
  • Full UK driving license

Desirable

  • EUSR water hygiene
  • Thames water passport
  • Appropriate City amp; Guilds trade Qualification (or similar) where appropriate
