We are looking for a Motor Claims Engineer to join us at INSHUR. Supported by (and reporting to) the Team Leader, you'll be joining a friendly team of claims professionals who thrive on delivering exceptional service to INSHUR customers.
You’ll be working on re-inventing insurance in exciting markets across multiple territories including the UK, US and the Netherlands, and new European countries as we expand.
What you'll do
The In-House Engineer will be an integral part of INSHUR's in-house claims department, providing essential technical insights and evaluations for motor claims. You'll apply your technical knowledge to assess vehicle damages, repair costs, and pre-accident values, ensuring that claims are handled efficiently and cost-effectively, all within an office environment that values collaboration and innovation.
•Provide expert assessments of vehicle damage reports and repair estimates to ensure accuracy and fair pricing.
•Collaborate with the claims team to identify potential savings and control incurred claims costs.
•Liaise with repairers and third-party engineers to negotiate repair methods, costs, and timescales.
•Support the claims process by contributing technical knowledge to the intervention strategy, enhancing customer experience, and reducing claim lifecycles.
•Uphold INSHUR’s commitment to superior customer service by offering technical explanations to non-technical audiences both internally and externally.
