Wattbike is an exciting brand with a big future, and we’re looking for a Stock Controller and Buyer for our parts and accessories to help deliver our ambitious growth plans!

Wattbike is used by the biggest sports teams and athletes across the Premier League, NFL, national rugby teams and more, as well as thousands of everyday athletes at home.

They all have one common goal: to improve their health and fitness progression.

As a parts and accessories (Pamp;A) stock controller / buyer you will be responsible for building strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments to support the stock management process. This will include forecasting, stock ordering and order processing for the B2B and D2C business whilst minimising supply chain costs where possible.

This is a hybrid role with the expectation of 3 days working from the office per week.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

· Forecasting and stock purchase orders; calculating parts and accessories demand across the business and managing suppliers.

· Order processing; specifically processing international distributor orders while supporting UK B2B and B2C and ad-hoc exports.

· Stock management; managing parts and accessories stock levels along with 3rd party service agent consignment stock.

· Manage relationship with main supplier in the Far East over the parts side of ordering and maintain up to date information.

· Supporting month end stock count at all locations (in-house, 3PL agents, monitor servicers, distributors, and service agents) and investigate discrepancies.

· Report on all things Pamp;A at weekly Samp;OP meetings.

· Back-up Commercial Teams and Customer Service Teams with Pamp;A stock information on request and on live Excel sheets.

· Continuously look for process improvements.

· Create ad-hoc reports for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

· Review and approve invoices for Accounts Team.

· Order packaging materials for all Wattbike locations.

· Manage Spare Parts and Accessories Administrator.

· Assist Head of Ops on ad-hoc projects, looking at money saving and best practice options and write new SOP’s.

· Work with Service Agent Co-ordinator to create service tier parts packages and other cross-team value-adding projects.

· Source Pamp;A with new suppliers, for best prices, materials and lead times.

Requirements

  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Experience in a similar supply chain role
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships Both UK and international
  • Ability to work collaboratively with wider operations, customer service and commercial teams
  • Self-motivation and the ability to solve problems on own
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Proven Microsoft Excel capabilities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a bonus
  • Being able to collate, present and understand data
