As our Business Development Associate, you're not just filling a role; you're shaping the future of Scanning Pens! Your mission: Drive growth and success with a laser focus on the Prisons, Workplace and Vulnerable Adult sector.
Responsibilities
Once you get to know our product, your playground will be to:
- Ignite growth by supporting the sourcing of new business opportunities
- Exceed targets and be the driving force behind this Sector's success
- Offer exceptional Customer Support and be the hero our clients deserve
- Cultivate meaningful relationships within the Prisons sector, Workplace sector and Vulnerable Adult sector and deliver exceptional service that leaves a lasting impact
- Support in sourcing new business opportunities and partnerships
- Organise potential sales leads and actively follow-up with a mixture of phone calls, training webinars, emails and social media. Your goal? Setting up free trials, quotes and making the sales orders rain!
- Partner with your leader, the UK Country Manager, on a journey of sales activitiesphone calls, emails, trade shows, tie-ins, and dynamic training sessions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective business strategies
- Dive into market research and analysis, uncovering trends and opportunities that keep us ahead of the game.
- Be a Company Ambassador by representing us with pride at industry events and conferences

Requirements
- A go-getter with a passion for making a positive impact
- Experience of working in the prison sector or working with vulnerable adults
- Knowledge around access to work is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of assistive technology is desirable
- 2+ years proven sales / business development experience
- Stellar communication that is persuasive enough to dazzle your team mates and customers
- Ability to cultivate good customer relationships
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Working knowledge of CRM and Office354
- Must be able to travel and attend conferences and/or trade shows
