Job Description

Salary: 21,000 - 23,000 per annum

Working Hours: 37.5 Hours Monday to Friday (Typical 8am 4pm, 8.30am - 4.30pm or 9am - 5pm)

Due to continual company growth, we are now looking for an organised and customer focused new team member to coordinate scheduled plumbing amp; water treatment works for our UK wide teams. You will provide the highest levels of customer service; scheduling bookings, organising site visits through our internal database and troubleshooting problems to ensure excelled account delivery. Joining our highly motivated and friendly team within our Harwell HQ, with normal working hours 8am 4pm, 8.30am - 4.30pm or 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, this is a great opportunity to be part of our highly valued team.

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Coordinating multiple customer works, in line with our planned scheduling agreement, supporting our Engineering Supervisor
  • Build key relationships with UK wide customer site teams; arranging and scheduling site visit appointments for Engineers’ planners across service delivery lifecycle
  • Complete tasks in our internal Opuz database to high levels of accuracy
  • Update client process guides for assigned client contracts
  • Troubleshoot problems and provide workaround solutions for client accounts
  • Manage customer enquiries, building key relations across internal teams to ensure highly professional client delivery
  • Collate and analyse data for KPI reporting, supporting Service Delivery Manager

Requirements

  • Coordination or scheduling resources in a field services delivery role
  • Prior experience working in an Engineering sector
  • Understanding of plumbing systems and materials used
  • Advanced customer service experience, with excellent English communication skills
  • Highly organised, with attention to detail
  • MS Office and / or Google Suite IT skills
  • Bespoke software package skills desirable
  • Right to work in the UK


All roles at SMS require a DBS check; SMS Environmental will cover the cost of this if you do not already hold a valid DBS certificate.
