About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and creative Senior Graphic Designer to join on a 12 month FTC for a British digital publisher.
Duties,
- Contribute to the creation of visually stunning and engaging content and for numerous channels.
- Working within the Marketing and Communications department and reporting to the Head of Design, you will work across a wide range of media, including but not limited to animated and static social graphics, marketing and event branding, and dynamic multimedia presentations.
- The role will afford the successful candidate a high level of autonomy to explore different design techniques and artistic executions on briefs for large-scale campaigns and household name brands.
- You will be a multi-disciplinary Designer with a keen eye for layout and typography, able to work to tight turnarounds and collaborate and effectively communicate with stakeholders from across the business.
- You will have solid branding experience and will have an in-depth understanding of applying brand principles to layouts across various platforms.
Requirements
- 6+ years commercial experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative work
- A high level of proficiency in industry-standard software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
- A background in news and/or social media is desirable but not essential
- Solid understanding of design and animation principles, visual storytelling, and design aesthetics
- Experience working on commercial pitch presentations and creative decks will be highly beneficial
