We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join us at INSHUR; we are based in sunny Brighton (sea, chips and seagulls included) and we split our work between home and the office (hybrid working) which typically includes working from our Brighton office at least once a week
You’ll be working on re-inventing insurance in exciting markets across multiple territories including the UK, US and the Netherlands, and new European countries as we expand.
Supported by (and reporting to) a Principal Engineer, you'll be joining a friendly team of 30+ Engineerswho believe in shipping high quality code to production as often as possible.

What you'll do
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing our development and deployment pipelines, implementing automation strategies, and advocating for QA best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion the improvement of our development and deployment pipelines to enhance product quality.
- Drive the automation efforts by creating and maintaining automation frameworks using multiple modern languages such as Java and JavaScript.
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of testing methodologies for web applications, RESTful, and GraphQL API services.
- Possess extensive experience with TDD/BDD and CI/CD methodologies.
- Adhere to and promote good software development practices, including Repository Management, Branching Strategies, and Clean Code principles.
- Familiarity with modern languages/Tools , such as Java, Go, Typescript, Postman / CucumberJVM / CucumberJs / K6 / Karate etc. is a plus.

Our budget for this role is up to 65,000 and we will take into account any previous experience and location of work when agreeing on the final offer.
