We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager Logistics Operations amp; Customer Excellence to join Norgine. The person holding this position will report to Associate Director, Logistics and Customer Care and have direct line management for the Global Distribution Team Leader and the Global Customer Services Team Leader. They will be a member of the Global Supply Chain.

The core responsibility of the of Senior Manager Logistics Operations amp; Customer Excellence is to develop and update short-term and long-term logistics strategies in alignment with organisational goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES amp; ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Conduct periodic analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the logistics domain.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of logistics plans with organisational objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the logistics and customer service departments, ensuring efficient and timely communication.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to align on objectives and monitor progress.
  • Develop internal communication strategies to ensure transparency and clarity in operations.
  • Develop and implement logistics policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Support regular audits to ensure compliance with both internal and external standards and regulations, including Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
  • Regularly review operational metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee risk management initiatives, including the creation and implementation of contingency plans.
  • Prepare and manage the annual logistics budget, including forecasts and actuals.

SKILLS amp; KNOWLEDGE

  • Degree level education with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Distribution, Customer Services, and Supply Chain Management.
  • Significant project management experience, particularly in network redesigns and vendor transitions.
  • Strong proficiency in Continuous Improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Leadership experience in a high-pressure, multi-cultural setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
