Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Executive - IFO (Independent Fast Food) Channel

Territory: Scotland / North-East England

Reporting Relationship: IFO Channel Manager (NI and Scotland) - Kepak Foods Division.

Role Purpose:

Delivery of the business goals and objectives in line with our sales strategy through a coordinated sales process and best in class customer management execution.

The Business Development Executive will be required to demonstrate a good understanding of the IFO sector amp; Foodservice and develop new and existing customer base with a specific focus on cooking, sampling, presenting, and selling the Kepak product portfolio. This will involve developing strong relationships with key End-Users and working closely with the relevant Distributor partners.

Requirements

  • Responsible for effective account planning that are fully aligned with Brand Plans to deliver consistency of execution and activation of key Customers whilst maximizing return on investment for the business.
  • Responsible for input amp; participation in the CDT (Channel Development Team) meetings and process, incorporating cross-functional support to ensure tangible outputs and actions in line with business objectives.
  • Coordination of weekly amp; monthly reports ensuring that the business is kept up to speed with regards to top-line business performance drivers, challenges, opportunities, proposed actions, latest developments in the marketplace, competitor activities, etc.
  • Responsible for the development of strong customer relationships to ensure delivery of our growth strategy.
  • Responsible for upkeep of all company data information collected during the daily role using the CRM system.
  • Support and manage the development of high potential sales leads - develop business cases for review amp; approval by the Senior Management Team.
  • Continued focus on self-development and your own competencies to ensure that you maintain a consistent performance level for the business.
  • Being an ambassador for our products, services, brands and the company across both external and internal stakeholders.

Key requirements:

  • Experience within Foodservice sector is desirable.
  • 5 years full-time Field sales experience desirable.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Determination to achieve and willingness to continually learn.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Full Clean Driving Licence.

  • A good commercial understanding of the business and market. Having the ability to make decisions that will benefit the business.
  • An ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships with key end users and distributors, in order to drive sales for KFD.
  • An ability to influence the key decision makers within an organisation.
  • Good communication skills that will keep all parties informed as well as managing expectations - both internally and externally.
