We are currently seeking a Business Development Executive to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Watford. As a Business Development Executive Responsible for proactive business development activities to maintain amp; grow revenue in a portfolio of unqualified existing customers.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Execute outbound calls and activities to grow and retain existing and new customers.
- Identify amp; follow-up quotable opportunities.
- Utilise existing customer data base to identify new lead opportunities
- Research new sales prospects via various channels
- Work closely with inside sales team to ensure customer follow up is actioned promptly and effectively.
- Demonstrate to customers a thorough understanding/knowledge of our product ranges.
- Accurately record customer interactions and data in CRM
Hours: 07:30am -4:30pm (Mon-Fri)
Requirements
- Proven experience in a telephone based sales role.
- Experience of working with technical or complex information.
- B2B industry experience (Ideally tools/fixings/PPE/construction consumables)
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas over the phone
- Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Persistent and results-oriented
- Patient and able to handle customer rejection.
- Ability to influence.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong teamworking skills
