Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented and creative Content amp; Marketing Executive to join a growing SME Marketing Agency based in Loughborough. As a Content amp; Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in developing and implementing content strategies to drive engagement and increase brand awareness for a portfolio of SME clients within varied industry sectors.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys the variety of agency related marketing activity whilst also building and fostering strong relationships with your clients.

This is a hybrid/home-based role - with the companies head office based in Loughborough. There will be an expectation to be in the office occasionally for team collaboration and meetings.

Key duties and responsibilities.

  • Generate creative and high-quality written and graphical content for social channels (mainly LinkedIn), ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging strategy.
  • Monitor social media trends and engagement, to make sure content is kept fresh and interesting, and up to date with industry news.
  • Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Conduct thorough proofreading to catch grammatical errors, typos, and ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for blog posts, articles, and other written materials.
  • Write compelling blogs and articles for clients, aligning with their tone of voice and strategies.
  • Perform keyword research to inform content creation and enhance search engine optimisation (SEO) efforts.
  • Optimise content for SEO, incorporating relevant keywords and best practices to improve online visibility.
  • Work closely with the team leader to align content with overall marketing goals and campaigns.
  • Attend weekly client meetings, taking notes and working through the action items required.
  • Draw up email campaign drafts (using Mailchimp/Hubspot or similar) for review.
  • Collate and review data and manage accordingly.
  • Adhoc tasks as per clients needs (Could include: Research/Brochures/Flyers/Presentations etc)

Hours - Monday to Friday 07:30am -4:30pm (Can be flexible)

Requirements

  • Proven track record working in a marketing role, ideally in an agency environment, producing content and organising campaigns.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Adobe InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop/Lightroom experience is essential.
  • Video editing experience would be highly advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and multimedia content creation.
  • Familiar with Social Platforms and analytics tools to track content performance.
  • Good initiative, and the ability to work productively unsupervised.
  • Ability to prioritise and work to timescales
  • Ability to handle pressure and rise to challenges

Salary- 25,000- 28,000 (DOE)
