A core part of our strategic vision is to ensure that innovation and expansion in our product suite continues to be at the heart of our growth. We are now seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to focus on the SMB experience on the web. This role will focus on enhancing the experience across both our direct channel-to-market for SMB customers as well as clients of our accountants and bookkeeper customers.
We have recently done a major shift in our commercial model which has created much greater emphasis on the SMB experience. This is a unique opportunity to reimagine the experience for an established product with a highly loyal customer base. It will also be at the heart of major investments to enhance the overall proposition for SMBs. This exciting role will have a major impact on the delivery of our product strategy.
The role (what you’ll do):- Set the vision, goals and roadmap for the SMB experience, in line with the overall product strategy and strategic objectives
- Focus on driving both client growth (number of users) and revenue via the Direct channel, by creating a tailored, personalised experience that addresses the unique needs of our SMB personas
- Lead your squad throughout the whole product lifecycle, from ideation, discovery, delivery, learning and iteration
- Identify and explore new opportunities to invest in and grow our offering for SMBs
- Collaborate with the mobile, SMB onboarding and platform teams to create a joined up experience across devices
- Work closely with product marketing to execute on the go-to-market strategy
- Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders to input into and maximise value from the SMB roadmap
This role reports into the Head of Product for Dext Prepare. As the SMB proposition develops, there is potential to step up and lead across multiple squads.
About you (what we are looking for):Essentials- B2B SaaS product experience in fintech or accounting: Familiar with the nuances of financial or accounting software platforms
- Proven expertise in Product Management: Demonstrated track record of managing and delivering successful products and using different processes across the product lifecycle
- Experience with Product Led Growth: Ability to lead growth initiatives through product features and user experiences
- Proficiency in experimentation: Skilled in conducting experiments to test hypotheses and make data-driven decisions
- Strong capability in KPI setting amp; analysis: Can define, track, and interpret key performance indicators to measure product success
- Experience in developing new products/ propositions: Has developed a new proposition/ product/ major set of features from scratch, and taken it through to launch and growth
- Team/ stakeholder collaboration: Is comfortable building and managing trusted relationships within your squad, between squads and with stakeholders
- Leadership skills: able to influence amp; inspire, using storytelling to communicate effectively
