Job Description
The National College couple a cutting-edge learning experience platform, with continuously evolving relevant course products to enable remote continuous professional development and certification for educators in over 46,000 schools.
The Finance Manager will support the Financial Controller and work as part of a team of 5 in finance (Including the FC and CFO). The role will be a varied one and you will play a crucial role in supporting robust financial reporting within the department, contributing to the development of current systems and processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with the stakeholders company wide to provide insightful financial analysis and support decision-making processes.
The role will be varied and will include the following duties: -
- Production of Monthly Management Accounts (Including Balance Sheet Reconciliations, variance analysis and related commentary)
- Overseeing financial transactions and ensuring accuracy at all times
- Monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Prepare variance analysis reports and provide insights into financial performance (Actual Vs Budget)
- Cashflow forecasting and monitoring of budgets
- Preparation of various financial reports and delivery to key stakeholders
- Continually identify opportunities for process and system improvements across the department
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and experiences: -
- CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified with 12 months post qualification experience
- Proven experience within financial reporting
- Experience within SaaS industry (Desirable)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines
