Joining our core Finance Team, as Senior Financial Accountant you’ll play a key role in ensuring that all statutory, regulatory and group reporting is produced to a high standard.
The role will involve the leadership of our small financial accountants team, all of whom are based in India. You will mentor and develop the team into highly functioning team that are continually looking to evolve to meet the specific needs of the business.
As well as the Group Financial Reporting Manager, you’ll work closely with the wider finance team, as well as key stakeholders across the business.
This role will be ideal for someone looking to take their first move away from a practice based role.
Some of the main responsibilities include:
- Lead, motivate and develop the team
- Ensure that all financial regulations are correctly applied to Target operations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Weekly liquidity and cash flow analysis
- Payroll settlement duties
- Investigate and analyse aged debt. Building relationships across the business to ensure aged debt is settled.
- Monitor and control the offshore Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Key point of contact for annual and ad-hoc audit
- Preparation of the following:
- monthly analytical review of the business and current Balance sheet status
- monthly group accounting returns
- FCA quarterly returns
- VAT returns
- other required disclosures, such as ONS surveys, DTR, 61 CT
- financial statements

The successful candidate will have...
- Qualified as an accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
- Financial Services and Outsourcing industries (desirable)
- Experience in statutory accounting
- At least 3years’ experience in a finance role
