Retirement Villages is recruiting for a brand-new role following the implementation of several new systems.
We are now on the lookout for a Senior Management Accountant. The new systems have created a strong platform to build our controls, processes, and reporting this role will be pivotal in developing and implementing these, working very closely with the Finance Manager.
You will form part of a team of Management Accountants responsible for providing an accurate and timely reporting service to the Business for our current and future Retirement Villages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take a lead role in optimising the newly implemented systems and drive continuous improvement across the team.
- Produce high quality, timely financial information and ensure that company records are appropriately maintained.
- Work closely with Ops teams at the Villages and teams around the Business to produce high quality financial information for Landlord and Service Charge Budgets and accounts.
- Drive efficiency and effectiveness across the whole team, as you optimise our ways of working following a recent major systems implementation and restructure.
- Thorough general ledger reviews including accruals/prepayments
- Ensuring Inter Company accounts balance
- Prepare monthly management accounts with insightful variance analysis
- Produce quarterly variance reporting for the Village Operations team and onward presenting to the FMG/RA
- Internal stakeholder collaboration and excellent customer service to our residents will be a key focus
What are we looking for?
- Knowledge of MRI PMX or equivalent best practice property management accounting
- software
- Experience with implementing new core business platforms and running multi-entity
- applications
- Up to date knowledge on current service charge accounting legislation and best practice for
- residential and commercial properties
- Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA accountant (Part-qualified depending on experience)
- Minimum 2 years' experience PQE
