Requirements
Who are we looking for?
- A quick learner who’s able to work well under pressure in faced paced, popular environments!
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Bar Manager in a fast paced venue making drinks including cocktails
- Food Safety Level 2
- WSET Level 2
- Personal licence
- An enthusiastic, friendly, dynamic and self motivated individual
- Passion for hospitality, a desire to make people happy, delivering genuine and memorable experiences
- A sense of pride in your work and the work of your team
- A willingness to support your teammates development for future career progression
- Experience managing and training a team
- Menu development experience
- Knowledge of using procurement systems
- An infectious attitude and great work ethic!
Your Key Responsibilities:
We’re looking for an energetic and engaging Bar Manager who will ensure the smooth running of 3 Bars, whilst creating exceptional guest memories in our The O2 venue. You’ll help to create surprising and delight moments, fantastic experiences and make our guests’ day by delivering high standards of service across the venue.
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Recruiting, coaching and developing a strong team across the bar
- Leading your bar team from the front! You will represent TOCA Social internally and externally when it comes to the bar.
- Full responsibility of of stock and cellar management, ordering amp; replenishing stock and recording inventory
- Developing Bar menus - having a strong involvement in developing drinks and cocktails for our main menu and any special or bespoke events
- Maintaining our high standards in bar service and ensuring your team meet the TOCA Social standards
- Upholding high food and beverage safety standards across the bar team
- Working towards all teammates on the bar delivering best in class experiences to all guests
- Supporting wider operational management activities and supporting other departments when necessary
We’re passionate about training and developing all our teammates to support their career progression and help them become legends! So you may receive training within other departments to support the venue as and when necessary.
