Every day, our team analyses billions of pieces of behavioural, attitudinal and purchase data from sports fans spanning the globe, using the latest machine-learning and data visualization technology. We do this to give our clients the tools and insight required to grow their businesses.

We have a team just over 570 Two Circlers working from six offices across the world (London, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Bern and Melbourne) who work cross-region to service our expanding international client base.

The eCommerce Technical Delivery Manager role sits within our rapidly expanding Technology Delivery team. It is a fantastic opportunity for a smart, dynamic and ambitious candidate interested in working for sport’s most exciting agency at our UK headquarters, located in the heart of London.

Role Profile:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and delivering Shopify store setups for medium to large-sized businesses. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of the eCommerce landscape.

This role will work closely with client facing teams to ensure understanding of high impact and detailed requirements. You will have an in-depth understanding of project delivery and technical capability for identifying and prioritizing the most critical areas of the delivery.

Requirements

Your main duties amp; responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Shopify eCommerce projects ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Manage a combination of internal and external cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and marketing professionals. Facilitating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to create engaging and intuitive online shopping experiences.
  • Provide technical guidance and solutions for Shopify store setup and customization. Utilising your knowledge of the Shopify platform to ensure the most appropriate latest Shopify features and third-party integrations are implemented effectively.
  • Understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure client satisfaction through regular updates and professional communication.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment amongst the project team. Facilitate, coordinate and manage the appropriate ceremonies such as planning, refinement, stand-ups and retrospectives to enable the team to do their best work as a team.
  • Ensure the highest quality of deliverables through rigorous testing and QA processes. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify stores.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of eCommerce initiatives. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and technology advancements.
  • Maintain and develop positive working relationships with stakeholder and colleagues across our agency, collaborate with them to define and refine requirements, backlogs and priorities, keeping them up to date on delivery at all stages by reporting project status, progress, dependencies, risks amp; mitigations.
  • Identify and manage risks, ensuring delivery to agreed timescales
  • Oversee successful delivery into production, identifying obstacles and helping the team to overcome them.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure value for money and service quality.
  • Oversee the integration of third-party services and solutions into Shopify stores.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal regulations, and best practices in eCommerce. Stay informed about regulatory changes affecting eCommerce and adapt strategies accordingly.

The ideal background and skills we are looking for include:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in eCommerce, with at least 3 years in managing Shopify store projects.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects successfully.
  • Proven experience managing 3rd party design and development vendors
  • In-depth knowledge of the Shopify platform, including its API and ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of the various components required to deliver best in class eCom
