Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, providing guidance and support in the development and execution of data science projects
• Design and implement advanced analytics models and algorithms to extract insights from large, complex datasets
• Develop predictive and prescriptive models to optimize business processes and decision-making
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data analytics to drive business growth and innovation
• Stay current with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning techniques, and apply them to solve business challenges
• Communicate findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear and impactful visualizations and presentations
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data models and analytical results
• Provide thought leadership in the development and implementation of data science strategies and best practices

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data science role, with a track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions
• Strong expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala
• Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or AWS
• Experience in natural language processing (NLP) and text mining is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor and guide a team
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
