How You’ll Contribute

You will report to the Senior Talent Manager and contribute by driving a direct sourcing strategy to enable Kroo to scale and hire an exceptional and diverse team. You will get the opportunity to work on strategic projects and collaborate with a variety of teams across the company. As a Tech Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and retaining top-tier software engineering professionals.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive the candidate funnel for tech candidates, ensuring that we deliver the right candidates to the business within the right timeframes.
  • Build a world class candidate experience.
  • Build tech and product talent pools.
  • Support wider people initiatives working with our CPO amp; People Manager.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand the technical requirements and strategic goals of software engineering teams.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to proactively address current and future talent needs.
  • Utilise a variety of channels to source and identify potential candidates, including online platforms, professional networks, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with passive and active candidates to create a pipeline of qualified software engineering talent.
  • Coordinate technical interviews and collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of candidates' technical capabilities.
  • Showcase the company's technical excellence and innovative projects to attract top talent.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor practices in software engineering talent acquisition.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, hiring managers, and technical leads, to align recruitment efforts with business objectives.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to assess a candidate's appropriateness for the job vacancy and take responsibility for the decision-making process.

Requirements

About You

  • Proven experience in technical recruitment, specifically within the software engineering domain.
  • Deep understanding of software development life cycle, technologies, and programming languages.
  • Strong technical assessment skills and ability to evaluate candidates' technical proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with technical professionals.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in software engineering talent acquisition.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience taking responsibility for managing the hiring funnel, candidates and interview process for Tech at Kroo.
  • Ensure Kroo has access to the right technical talent, inline with the hiring plan.
  • Ensure all candidates receive an appropriate rejection email and feedback.
  • Ensure candidates have an exceptional experience.
  • Minimise time to hire for new roles.
  • Frequent travel to the London office is expected.

  • 1-hour live technical recruitment exercise. You will work through a recruitment challenge with members of our talent team via Google Hangouts
  • 30-minute opportunity to meet with our CPO via Google Hangouts
