The Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Application and Systems Support professional to join our on-site IT Team
Applications are invited from committed, reliable and proactive individuals, capable of operating efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic working environment. Reporting directly to the Head of IT, candidates will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident of liaising with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, with a background in systems management and business processes, you will be responsible for supporting and developing both enterprise and bespoke applications that are delivered to end users within the business. The workload will be varied, collaborating with all operational areas of the business to understand business amp; user requirements of current and new systems.
Duties amp; Responsibilities
Work will be split between project and support work, including but not restricted to these key areas:
- IT helpdesk support for tickets raised against supported applications
- Troubleshoot, and resolve technical and functional issues in applications and systems
- Plan amp; perform preventative maintenance work on IT applications and systems
- Undertake administration and maintenance of user accounts on internal and external applications and systems
- Collaborating in business process documentation to ensure alignment to system best practices and standards
- Ensure IT documentation and user guides are maintained
- Work with the training department to identify training needs on applications, assisting in the development of syllabus and materials.
- Develop and execute functional and technical test scripts
- Deployment of new on premise and cloud systems and applications
- Support project delivery, application upgrades and testing
- Lead digital transformation projects to assist in automating and streamlining business operations
Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills amp; Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience within an IT environment
- Strong communication skills, both written amp; verbal
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Entire software development life cycle
- SharePoint, including workflows/document libraries
- Experience in developing applications with customisations amp; integrations
- EDI technologies and administration
- Enterprise systems, for example, ERP, CRM systems
- Application patch management
- SQL Server
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Power BI
- Power Apps
- Microsoft Teams
- XML
- ITIL framework
- Project management tools
- Data analysis
- Full UK Driving Licence
