Job Description

We are currently seeking a HR Advisor to join us based in Leamington Spa. Your role as a HR Advisor is to maximise the efficiency of the Regional HR Managers through dealing with day-to-day enquiries and undertaking special project development within the Human Resources areas. You will advise business managers of employment issues and provide support within HR Guidelines for the region.

Key duties and responsibilities.

  • Contribute towards achieving organization objectives
  • Strive to reduce the operating costs
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, to apply your expertise to resolve HR related problems.
  • Coordinate and assist with the facilitation of day-to-day HR functions internally.
  • Ensure HR records and procedures are kept current.
  • Comply with, and ensure staff compliance with internal policies, house rules and legislation.
  • Tailor guidance to suit the situation and environment.
  • Clearly communicate and ensure managers are aware of any risks and implications and are supported and confident in carrying out HR functions as required.
  • Recruitment and Induction
  • Provide Employee Relations support in handling dispute resolution, investigations, mediations, grievances and disciplinary processes;
  • Position Description Review and Implementation;
  • Conduct a review of all employee position descriptions
  • Support the KPI programme for UBT Group
  • Support HR Projects;
  • Provide support for the Global HR Team across various HR projects.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an HR Advisor,HR Consultantor similar role
  • Ability to design clear and faircompany policies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • CIPD qualified or working towards
  • Friendly, approachable and personable
  • Experience of generalist HR duties including recruitment, casework and investigations providing support to hiring managers
