Job Purpose

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager, to join our Product Experience team. Reporting to the Director of Product, you will be instrumental in building a strong product marketing function and capability, supporting the entire product and go to market process from problem definition through to solution design and delivery.

Working with the other core disciplines in Product Product Management, UX, Engineering and Science you will embed yourself in the continuous discovery process, understanding the problems we are solving for customers and the solutions we ultimately craft to solve them in the Perform Platform.

Drawing on this depth of knowledge you will be responsible for bringing the Perform value proposition to life for our customers and users, through compelling marketing and engagement strategies that drive adoption and growth of the platform and Thomas as a category leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with your colleagues in the Cross Functional Teams to understand the problems being surfaced in the product discovery process
  • Participate in prospect and customer calls to understand how the value proposition is being delivered and understood and how our customers are getting value from the solutions we build
  • Undertake competitive and market research to bring relevant industry/sector insight into the discovery process and to inform our messaging and positioning
  • Participate in and monitor the activity and outcomes of the experiments and beta programs we run, including gathering feedback from sales and customer success teams and reporting these back into the business.
  • Work closely in partnership with your colleagues in Marketing (Digital, content, Partner and Lead generation) tracking and reporting on the success of value propositions/campaigns that you create
  • Work closely with your colleagues in Content and Enablement to ensure we have compelling ‘self-serve’ tools and support materials that speak to our overall proposition
  • Work closely with colleagues in data analytics/BI to map and track product metrics to understand growth levers for increasing platform usage

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a progressive Product Marketing role, within a B2B SaaS solution provider
  • Ideally experience in the HR/People solutions sector
  • Proven capability of taking new, emerging products to market
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Familiarity with modern progressive product management techniques
  • Take a process orientated approach
