What the job does:
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, talented, ambitious Copywriter to join our growing in-house copy team, predominantly supporting the PR function. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has an affinity for beauty products to write engaging, on-brand copy to support with Brand and PR activities - including press releases, media alerts, and scriptwriting - working across Skincare, Complexion and Colour product categories.
You will have strong written English skills, a creative, meticulous eye for detail and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role will work closely with the PR, Social Marketing, Product Development, Creative amp; Ecommerce teams.
Role Accountabilities:
- Write creative, engaging copy across several channels including press releases, editorials, printed collateral, media Qamp;As, email marketing directed at influencers (media, bloggers, vloggers, makeup artists etc.) and speeches for media days, events and TV
- Manage briefings of stakeholders ahead of any interview, event or speech
- Attend events, interviews and speeches and be media/influencer facing both in the UK and flexibility to travel where required
- Maintain Charlotte Tilbury’s tone of voice across all platforms, to ensure all copy represents the brand DNA
- Support with creative copywriting when needed, including but not limited to: campaign taglines, copy for artworks and marketing decks, social and paid social
- Produce long and short form copy (from taglines to presentations)
- Proofread all content in situ
- Work across multiple projects at one time, with the ability to prioritise and deliver projects to agreed deadlines
Requirements
- Strong copywriting skills, with significant, relevant experience within beauty
- Proven experience of writing creative copy for press releases, media Qamp;As and scripts
- Have a sound grasp of the Charlotte Tilbury brand, voice and aesthetic
- Ability to prioritise own workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
- An affinity for the beauty industry
- Meticulous eye for detail
- Passionate about stories and current affairs, with a finger on the pulse of social and news trends
- Ability to adapt to different tones of voice and copywriting needs
- Excellent communication skills, with an articulate, polite manner written, over the phone and in person
- Great relationship-building skills and the ability to network at all levels
- A keen Interest in skincare, makeup, fragrance and more
- Experience using project management tools such as Trello
