Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our client development team, supporting revenue generation through experiential and smart mass sampling. Working with some of the UK’s largest FMCG brands, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to clients, forging strong, trusting relationships in order to achieve ambitious growth targets.

You will be working in a team which prides itself on being supportive, fun with strong personal leadership values. There will be plenty of opportunities to develop your skills in building long term client relationships and becoming a thought leader in your field.

The role is based in our Maidenhead office with flexibility to work from home.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing a portfolio of existing client accounts whilst supporting senior members of the Client Development team to achieve joint goals
  • Identifying new business opportunities to increase account spend and develop the client base
  • Delivering and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets
  • Creating and developing client proposals, reports and creative briefs and presenting to clients as part of the pitch process
  • Working collaboratively across internal departments to ensure campaigns are delivered to agreed specifications.
  • Acting as key contact and knowledge expert for Experiential and Smart Mass Sampling
  • Coach and support junior members of the team

Requirements

  • Experiential experience agency side
  • Demonstrable account management experience in Experiential
  • Successful record of client development and able to create and maintain robust long term client relationships
  • Strong and open communication skills to deliver presentations.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task and juggle different priorities whilst retaining a cool head and an professional demeanour.
  • The ability to develop multiple clients at one time.
  • Good administration skills and diligence.
  • Great collaborator with a flexible approach in work situations.
  • A history of achieving targets consistently
  • Experience of researching growth areas and trends to maximise our impact in the marketplace
  • Full driving licence advantageous
  • Able to commute to Maidenhead office 2 days per week
