Responsibilities
- The successful delivery of the product through the design and development phases of the programme
- Building and maintaining a strong relationship with client stakeholders and technology specialists, establishing yourself as a trusted and authoritative presence for the client team
- Ability to gain information once, and at source
- Strong organisation skills and strategic planning given the fast-paced design and delivery with the need to collaborate across both design and development sprints simultaneously
- Facilitating dialogue about customer value with the client and internal team, making the product owner’s decisions more efficient, and analysing for gaps and impacts
- Participating in the design and running of engaging client workshops
- Determining the product scope and working with the PM to ensure it fits within the constraints of the project scope
- Eliciting and documenting requirements (business, customer, technical) as they emerge, and refining them as they become better understood or more information becomes available
- Ensure traceability from overarching project Vision and Objectives, right through to backlog items and supporting artefacts
- Helping the Project Manager communicate adjustments to the product scope to stakeholders in order to maintain buy-in
- Working with Strategy team members to translate high-level strategic vision into tangible requirements for design and delivery
- Continuous assessment and prioritisation of the product scope in relation to the understanding of the requirements, business and customer needs, responding to new information etc
- Communicating the product scope to the development team via the product backlog (Epics, Features, User Stories, documented to the appropriate level of detail)
- Work proactively with your account team and department head to manage your own workload and prevent over or under-utilisation
Requirements
This is a senior role and you will be expected to hit the ground running on the project.
- At least 3 years experience as a Business Analyst (or similar) on digital experience transformation programmes
- Experience in eliciting, documenting and prioritising requirements from all relevant sources
- Experience breaking UX and design artefacts down for delivery by a technical team
- Experience and familiarity with Sitecore 10 XP development and support
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Miro, Google Suite, Slack and Teams are essential
- Experience with Figma and Airtable are highly desirable
- A strong understanding of digital technology, systems integration and implementation
- Experience creating and owning a backlog of user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience leading a technical Scrum through a sprint lifecycle
- Strong written skills for presentation and written report creation
- Strong client relationship management and presentation skills (this is a client facing role)
- Previous consultancy or large agency experience is preferred
