Job Title: HR Advisor
Reporting into: Employee Relations Manager
Location: Manchester
Package: Up to 35k based upon relevant experience
Other Information: This role is hybrid with a minimum requirement of three days a week working from our Manchester office

The successful applicant will join an established HR team of 6 and will be responsible for supporting our entire workforce in providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers and colleagues.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
CIPD Qualification: For this role we are looking for candidates to be CIPD qualified to a minimum level 5. If you are currently working towards your qualification we would still be keen to hear from you.
Advisory Experience: Demonstrable experience of working at HR Advisor level and providing guidance to colleagues at all levels. Sound knowledge, and ability to advise on, employment law and best practice.
Employee Relations: Prior experience of handling ER issues and following both formal and informal HR practices. Willing and able to navigate the handling of difficult situations and conversations whilst always maintaining confidentiality.
IT Skills and Systems: Intermediate level of skill on the Microsoft Office Suite, with solid Excel skills being essential. Previous experience of using Sage HR advantageous but not essential.
Relationship Building: The right candidate will be exceptional in establishing and maintaining strong working relationships, both within the company and with external partners.
Task Prioritisation: Prioritising tasks and being goal focused when working towards tight and conflicting deadlines.
