Location: Derby
Salary 22,000 - 25,000 per annum, dependent on experience
With 22 years of leading industry experience, SMS Environmental, a leading water treatment and air quality management company specialising in Legionella control, ranks within the top 5% of water treatment providers within the UK.
Our schematics team are the key to ensuring our Water Engineering and Risk Assessment teams can identify problem areas to remove any legionella bacteria in our customer water systems. Creating detailed schematic drawings of water systems across a range of customer buildings, including individual residences, small offices, schools, commercial, care homes and healthcare facilities; you will thrive on producing high quality schematic drawings, identifying anomalies where present and partnering with our Engineering teams to ensure high quality schematic drawings are created.
In return, we offer we offer a salary up to 25,000 per annum, 37.5 hour working week (Monday - Friday), 22 days paid annual leave (plus UK bank holidays), enhanced sick, maternity /paternity pay, healthcare plan for long service and multiple opportunities to progress within the team or throughout our wider business.
Your Schematics Coordinator role:
- Producing schematic drawings from small large building water systems
- Using AutoCAD 2013 to create accurate schematic diagrams as true representation of Risk Assessor Drafts
- Create schematic drawings in line with IMS75: Legionella Risk Assessment Report Preparation amp; Quality Assurance Procedure, UKAS 17020 and RG9 compliance regulations
- Analyse and identify anomalies in draft vs schematic drawings in partnership with quality team
- Build key relations across Risk Assessor teams to gain, secure and question risk assessment drafts, to create accurate schematic drawings
- Support with projects as required
Requirements
Essential:
- Previous career experience producing schematic drawings for water systems / electrical / mechanical / architectural or any relevant industry requirements
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2013 to create schematic drawings
- Strong IT skills across MS Suite Word, Excel amp; Outloo
- High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communicator able to build key relations via phone, email, and virtual meetings
- Strong ability to learn new systems, processes, and procedures
All roles at SMS require a DBS check; SMS Environmental will cover the cost of this if you do not already hold a valid DBS certificate.
