Studio Assistant and Cleaner

As a crucial part of our team, you'll seamlessly blend two essential roles ensuring our studios sparkle and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our valued customers. Your dedication will shine through as you handle both pre and post-customer cleaning, resetting studios to perfection, and maintaining the pristine condition of communal areas.

This role will be cover our Edinburgh studios across 6 days mostly worked in the morning- so its important you are an early riser! Offering a part time role of 18 contracted hours with the ability to pick up extra hours ad hoc at our Glasgow studios covering leave.

You'll be working on

  • Cleaning and re-setting studios to perfection, ensuring they are always ready for each session.
  • Thorough cleaning and disinfection of bathrooms, toilets, and restocking consumables.
  • Reporting any equipment issues or facility concerns to the Site Manager promptly.
  • Assisting with equipment troubleshooting and safe repairs alongside the Site Manager.
  • Waste removal and regular deep cleaning tasks.
  • Keeping entrances, signage, and walkways clean and presentable.
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping communal areas and corridors.
  • Working with the customer service team to address room repairs promptly.
  • Following stock control procedures for equipment and cleaning supplies.

Requirements

We're looking for

  • Cleaning experience preferred but not essential
  • Any experience of fixing, adjusting or managing musical equipment is desirable
  • Ability to be flexible and reliable
  • Able to work using their own initiative
  • Be able to prioritise workload and work well under pressure
  • A can do attitude, someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in to issues as and when they arise
  • A passion for music would be great but not required!
