Parkopedia has the mission of providing the best in-car data and transaction services to make mobility ecological, efficient and convenient.
In this key role you will be responsible for our data ingestion and processing pipelines, collaborating closely with our Robotics Engineers and Infrastructure Engineers to scale our indoor mapping pipeline globally.
We are seeking a Python Software Engineer who shares our passion for the work we do to join our dynamic team based in London, we operate a hybrid approach to being in the office and are conveniently located just a short walk from London Bridge.
Responsibilities- Own and maintain the pipeline that turns our raw sensor data into super-accurate 3D maps
- Ensure our processing pipeline is fit for purpose - reliable, robust, scalable, easy to maintain and fast
- Build monitoring tools, dashboards and web-interfaces to visualise our pipeline and map inventory
- Be a great member of the team - we action the best ideas and we support each other in any way we can
Requirements
We are looking for a talented Data Engineer with an open mind, ideally with many of the following:
- Experience developing pipelines in Apache Airflow and the infrastructure to run it on AWS cloud (Docker, EC2, ECS etc.)
- Experience in using and maintaining modern big data pipelines
- Able to learn quickly and solve complex, ambiguous problems
- A DevOps mentality, someone who is comfortable taking an idea from development all the way to production
- At least 2 years software development experience in Python in a commercial setting
