Job Description

Made Media designs and produces creative digital solutions for world-leading brands in the arts, culture, and entertainment space. We enable our clients to connect with the world; sharing their ideas, events, and passions with as many people as possible.

We’re looking for a Production Coordinator to assist our client services team and be involved in all stages of the production and quality assurance process (from development through to deployment) to help ensure production runs smoothly.

You'll also conduct manual tests as part of our internal quality assurance process, making sure that issues are addressed before work is passed to clients for approval.

Responsibilities

As Production Coordinator, you will report to the Studio Manager. Your role will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Carrying out all levels of testing (stress testing, performance testing and functional testing) and providing objective feedback to development project teams
  • Creating support documentation and /or knowledgebase content for current and new features
  • Triaging support tickets, reproducing bugs and production issues, and communicating quick fixes and workarounds
  • Performing manual testing of new features being iteratively developed
  • Coordinating project workflows to ensure bugs/issues continue to move forwards during project remediation phases
  • Working on multiple projects at one time and working within departmental and project deadlines.
  • Supporting the Studio Manager by tracking progress and performance of tasks against client SLAs.
  • Maintaining timely client communication using the helpdesk system (Freshdesk) and sometimes phone, email and project management systems like Jira or Notion.
  • Identifying stalled and blocked issues and proactively follow up with clients to hasten resolutions
  • Working closely with the Studio Manager and Head of Client Services to ensure that quality control and quality assurance processes are optimised across the support department.

Requirements

The successful candidate is likely to have most of the following:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues or clients.
  • Excellent time management, resource management, and planning skills
  • Strong analytical skills, an eye for details, good judgement, and the ability to self-start and self-motivate.
  • Demonstrable curiosity in current web technologies and digital platforms/products
  • Experience as a Software Tester or a similar role
  • Experience working with or in the arts, culture, and/or entertainment sectors.

  • Salary: 25-28k per year, dependent on experience. We are a remote company and set salaries based on a national benchmark. We will pay a market enhancement for new employees located in specific cities (please see below).
