Location: Swindon amp; WFH

Salary: 50,000 - 55,000 per annum + bonus

Contract: Permanent / Full-time

About the role

Join our team as a Tender Manager and take a lead role in shaping the future of our healthcare services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tender Manager who specialises in healthcare contracts within the laundry industry to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our sales division, you will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end process of bidding for and securing healthcare contracts. Your expertise in the healthcare industry, combined with your exceptional project management and negotiation skills, will be instrumental in driving our success in securing new business opportunities and expanding our healthcare services portfolio.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Tender Sourcing: Ensure Oxwash are accepted onto all relevant tender platforms, and maintain the presence on these platforms each year. Identify and assess potential healthcare contract opportunities in the market.

Tender Management:

  • Manage the entire tender process, from identifying opportunities to the submission of proposals, through to client meetings and contract signing.
  • Arrange each stage of the process, collaborate with Operations, Sustainability, Platform and Commercial teams to complete questionnaires and tender documents.
  • Ensure all proposals comply with legal and regulatory requirements and adhere to company guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and editing of tender documents to maintain consistency and clarity.

Pricing and Contract Negotiation:

  • Strategically determine pricing and contract terms based on market research, profitability analysis, and client demands.
  • Engage in negotiations with clients to secure favourable terms while maintaining the long-term business interests of the company.

Process and Knowledge Management:

  • Ensure internal processes and documentation are maintained to streamline tender completion.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of client requirements and tailor proposals to meet their specific needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
  • Maintain accurate and organised documentation related to each tender, including records of communication and negotiations.
  • Analyse the healthcare landscape to identify potential opportunities and risks that may affect tender success.

Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their evolving needs and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure a smooth transition for clients onboarding with their Account Manager

Revenue:

  • Responsible for Healthcare revenue targets and growing our client base. A deep understanding of our target audience, their motivations and pain points will be used to help develop the Oxwash sales pitch and communicating our competitive advantage to customers.

Your Key Relationships will be with:

  • Head Of Business Development: You will report to our Head of Business Development. They are accountable for your teams’ output and will support you across the breadth of your responsibilities.
  • Marketing Team: you will work with the Marketing Team to provide feedback on customer personas, needs and services requested to enable the team to build effective communications.
