Internal Account Manager

We are currently seeking an Internal Account Manager to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Watford. Your role will be to maximise profitable sales from inbound enquiries, developing amp; retaining customer relationships of a portfolio of customers across the North of England.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Contribute towards hitting company revenue and profit numbers, measured daily
• Being responsible for handling incoming sales enquiries; identifying amp; quoting the sales opportunity, winning the order in a professional manner.
• Up-sell and cross-sell, with a keen focus on product mix
• Relentless follow up of all quotes until completed
• Accurately record customer interactions amp; data in CRM.
• Grow customer spend in dedicated region.

Requirements

• Dynamic, motivated, and hungry for sales success
• Proven telephone based sales experience
• B2B industry experience, ideally within the plant-hire/tools/fixings/construction/industrial products
• Track record of over-achieving targets
• Strong phone selling skills and active listening
• Ability to upsell and cross sell relevant items to increase margin
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
• Building effective working relationships with internal and external customers
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Ability to influence and negotiate
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience of working with technical or complex information

Hours: 07:30 - 4.30pm (Mon-Fri)

Benefits

Salary - 40,000 - 45,000 (DOE)
