We control our destiny; we manage everything end-to-end to deliver our promise to customers and fulfil the potential of the Ruroc brand. We are building world-class teams across the board, and we have recently invested in our own Ruroc Factory to keep up with our ever-snowballing demand.
We are now looking for a Senior Demand Planning Assistant to join our Buying and Merchandising function. In this role, you will provide vital support to the Demand team in analysing current inventory levels and forecasting future demand, ensuring that customer demand is met and inventory is optimized across the business.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure the category demand plan is always up to date with sales, stock and intake for all 3 warehouses.
- Report weekly on the current and forecast availability % of all categories, identifying any risk to the set 98% availability target.
- Work closely with the logistics and supply teams to accurately track and record intake atcategory and sku level.
- Keep an up-to-date delivery schedule that includes in-transit stock and all purchase order outstanding balances, highlighting any delays or partial deliveries.
- Regular communication with the customer services team, updating them on late deliveries and any affected orders.
- Support with Monday trading, including the updating of category and style level performance reporting.
- Managing the sales and stock for Accessories and Apparel ranges. Reforecasting monthly, considering planned promotions and ensuring full availability of all Active skus. Orders to be placed monthly.
- Havegood understanding of company performance with a more in-depth knowledge of performance at style level.
Requirements
THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU:
- Have experience in demand planning or merchandising gained in either a retail or B/C environment.
- Are experienced in using Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data analysis and reporting with large volumes of data.
- Have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw insights.
- Are detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Demonstrate ability to "get things done" and to "find a solution".
- Never accept second best, you are willing to go that extra mile to deliver the best you possibly can.
- Love ownership; you own the problem along with the solution.
