What the job does:

We ’re looking for an ambitious Senior National Account Manager to join our fabulous EU Commercial team. You ’ll be responsible for nurturing strategic partnerships with our retail partners as well as identifying new commercial opportunities, negotiating best in class reciprocal retailer support, and thinking limitlessly to bring the Tilbury magic to life in store and online.

You’ll have a commercial mindset with a natural ability to reach creative results and achieve ambitious targets. You’ll be highly numerate, target-driven, commercially savvy, and passionate about working in the beauty industry.

Role Accountabilities:

Trading Relationships

  • Establish and maintain amazing relationships at all levels within your designated accounts, including Buying/Trading, Merchandising, and Marketing, to ensure that the Charlotte Tilbury brand is positioned to deliver more than its due share of voice, visibility and exposure.
  • Conduct successful commercial negotiations on terms, pricing, distribution, space and location, in-store availability, and support with Buying and Merchandising.
  • Thorough understanding of commercial levers and distribution strategy planning

Driving Performance

  • Ensure a top-line and detailed understanding of retail context, category and individual store performance to identify retail opportunities and strategic needs.
  • Own all net sales forecasting for defined retailers, meeting all financial deadlines and budget submissions, flagging risks and opportunities in a timely and quantified manner.
  • Deliver limitless strategic plans to maintain and drive #1 ranking across the estate.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting for NPD and core lines, and proactive inventory and assortment management, with close collaboration with Supply Chain and Demand Planning.

Cross-Functional Working

  • Build strong working relationships with Retail team, utilising insight from the field and engaging the team in the execution of the trading plans.
  • Work closely with Operational Marketing, Visual Merchandising, PR, and Store Design to create and deliver an annual plan for each retailers covering: activation of key launches and marketing moments, eventing, store/retailer animation, considering both customer acquisition and retention. Review implementation and performance vs expectations on a regular and appropriately frequent basis.
  • For new markets or trading partners, onboard and build out bespoke launch plans appropriate to the market and retailer to reach and sustain #1 ranking.

Team Management

  • Support the development and performance of National Account Managers, including building functional expertise (forecasting) and relationship management with trade
  • Allow National Account Managers to lead relationships with defined accounts, supporting key decision making and strategy, but giving autonomy and accountability
  • Coach and motivate National Account Managers to achieve and exceed net sales targets for lead accounts

Requirements

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Extensive and proven experience as a Senior National Account Manager / National Account Manager, ideally within beauty/luxury/fashion industry though open to other industries.
  • You will be highly numerate, target-driven, commercially savvy, keen to find creative solutions to challenges and passionate about working in the beauty industry.
  • You will be results oriented amp; proactively Solution Driven
  • Structured and organised but comfortable working with ambiguity, in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment (we are still a new business despite what you might think!)
  • You will have a forward-thinking mindset which allows you to push boundaries and build game changing cross functional relationships
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with an eye for detail and rigour.
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in negotiating.
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal
  • Have excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
