Accounts Assistant (Temporary)

Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Finance the Accounts Assistant will work in close partnership with the Finance team members and the Purchasing team.
Key responsibilities will include
- Ensure that all purchase invoices are input into the finance system in a timely manner with a particular focus around month end
- Make sure that invoices have relevant and valid purchase orders, confirming the details are correct and code ready for inputting into internal finance systems
- Ensure GRN compliance on the finance system
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts
Working Requirements: This role is part time (22.5 hours per week) for an initial period of 2-3 months. Working patterns can be can be spread over 3-5 days within the working week, such as school hours (Monday - Friday). Please talk to us about the working pattern that suits you during your interview. We are looking for this role to start as soon as possible.

- A Level educated or equivalent.
Desirable
- Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Previous experience in a junior finance position
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business central
