People Lead Role

We understand the importance of creating a remarkable culture through our highly valued people proposition. Our People Leads (PL) are critical to bringing this culture to life for our Business Units or the (BU) they support.

The PL is part of the BU Management team. They are responsible for embedding our culture, looking after the wellbeing of our ANDis and supporting their growth and development, alongside the operational activities associated with all the people relevant to your BU. A PL is responsible for the operational aspects of circa 90 ANDis for a fully scaled club.

Responsibilities

People management

  • Support the BU Lead and BU management team in people related activities, proactively providing guidance and expertise to deal with questions and issues as they arise
  • Undertake the administrative and operational people/HR processes for the ANDis in your BU.
  • Support the needs of the ANDis balancing this with the commercial needs of your BU, using their judgement and experience to provide appropriate support, challenge and decision making
  • Ensure the people operations activities of your BU are consistent with our club playbook and AND company governance
  • Engage the UK People Lead on more complex or senior level people matters, seeking support and guidance where appropriate

ANDi well-being amp; engagement

  • Promoting our culture, fostering happiness and engagement in their BU. Ensuring people are developing in their careers and enjoying their time at AND
  • Track an overall ‘pulse’ of people engagement across the BU, spotting trends and patterns, working with the BU management team to proactively take action as needed
  • Interpret and evaluate engagement feedback (e.g. illume surveys, exit interviews) to identify actions to enhance engagement across the BU
  • Enable ANDi engagement events (Club/Action Days, FF) ensuring level and quality of events are informative, fun and engaging
  • Build a highly engaged and connected People Champion community to support and promote wellbeing and engagement initiatives within your BU

ANDi career support amp; growth

  • Manage the performance and development process and associated activities in your BU
  • Organise and run Career Scrum Teams (or equivalent process) and progression/levelling process
  • Coach and support Squad/Team Leads in development amp; support of their ANDis
  • Perform an active role in scheduling decisions for ANDi’s providing input and support to Squad Leads
  • Partnering with BU lead to support and nurture the careers of the BU’s leadership team, including providing insight and input into roles that should be considered in other parts of the business through our mobility programme

Landing new ANDis in your BU

  • Ensure new ANDis joining your BU are set-up for success, BU and squad/team specific on-boarding activities are planned, ready for new joiners to arrive
  • Work with the Academy team to provide/collate required information for them to successfully land in your BU

Support people change initiatives

  • Work with the BU Lead to plan, communicate and implement people related changes effectively across the BU
  • Collaborate with UK People Team on supporting the implementation of People related projects within their BU

People data management

  • Ensure all people related data is kept up to date and regularly maintained across our systems, primarily Luna
  • Work closely with payroll team to make sure pension, payroll, contracts and other HR administration updates all happen on time

Skills amp; Experience:

  • Experience of operating at a level where you can naturally guide and advise BU management teams in all aspects of people management
  • Demonstrable experience of driving high levels of people engagement ,
  • Technical HR knowledge, experience and know-how, including basic knowledge of country specific employment law and its application in an HR
