We prioritise aptitude not knowledge, although we would like to see experience of solving large and complex problems in an application development domain. We are not looking for a list of specific programming languages on your CV but experience of more than one language would be an advantage. As would specific experience in the languages/technologies listed below.
We are looking for people with a focus on delivering solutions to our customers, a genuine passion for problem solving, coding, and who enjoy being challenged. An interest in Data Science would be an advantage but is not essential. Experience with working in agile teams and CI/CD environments is beneficial.
You will be joining a highly talented and motivated team delivering software services and products built on patented database technology.
The ideal candidate will have at least one of the following plus 2+ years of professional software experience:
- Modern Java skill amp; willingness to cross-train to Go
- AWS API skill
- Go skill
Requirements
In addition, it would be advantageous to have any of the following:
- Experience with AWS Glue or Spark
- Python skill
- IAC skill - particularly terraform
- Kubernetes
